2026 – Autumn Trimester

14th September - 11 December 2026 Week off 26th October

• A1.2 Tuesdays 10-11h (moving on from beginner)

• A2.1 - Tuesdays 13h30-14h30 (getting more independent)

• A2.3 – Tuesdays 11-12h (introducing the past tenses)

• B1+ - Tuesdays 12h-13h (conversation and development)

For most of these classes, to maximise class time and speed up your learning, we use the blended learning approach of OnTrack online - where you receive access to all the course materials in advance, so you can prepare each lesson in in your own time, and so then in the classes you will know what we are going to be doing, be prepared and we will spend the class doing activities and plenty of speaking!

• Friday afternoon conversation and study group, to chat about studies, do ‘homework’ etc in a learning environment(weekly 13-15h30).

• Monthly class outing the first Friday morning of each month - (02/10, 06/11, 04/12 this year) visiting local places to get out and about and hear and use Portuguese :)

The sequence of the 9 levels is this:
Beginner: A1.1 – A1.2 – A1.3
Elementary: A2.1 – A2.2 – A2.3
Intermediate: B1.1 – B1.2 – B1.2

You will get 180 days access to the online platform with the 12 lesson package packed with materials put together in a well structured and easy to digest way. Each lesson has a training video, pdfs and online flashcards and games to keep you engaged and motivated. (all pdfs are downloadable - so you can study offline too).

A2 CIPLE exam prep courses

We are running 12 week online courses in 2026 preparing for the exams in March, May, July and November. we have a 97% pass rate for the A2 CIPLE exam :) Full details here.

The course reviews the A2 syllabus and then takes you through the exam components. We pinpoint the best path for you - whether to simply pass and get the certificate you need, or to fly and get top marks. Lots of materials and tips are shared. Chat Group

A weekly themed chat group at 2 levels. Join the live online session to chat with other learners at your level in break-out groups of 2-3 people. Great speaking practice and confidence builder! Full details here

Book club

Every other month we read one book in 4 stages. When we meet weekly we falar português and discuss interesting language and our opinions about the section read that week. Full details here.
